Nokia or Blackberry?

Hi,

             Well as you all know the blackberry phones, they are available India with almost all service providers, (yes, bsnl too). Before you going to buy this phone just read this blog. I am expressing my views on today’s mobile technology.

There is two category of blackberry phone buyers,

 1) This people purchasing this costly (http://www.fonearena.com/mobile_phone_pricelist.html) phones just for style statement. 

 If you are belonging to this category just don’t read any further, just go and buy your dream phone because style is beyond price tag, features n all....

2) The second categories of people are those who really need blackberry enterprise service to stay connected with there mailbox.

Yes and that is the only feature that is making blackberry unique in market. Service providers are also earning from the blackberry owners as they have to pay 899 to 1000/- rs. Per month as service charge.  

  

Now one question.... 


Why are you paying this much for Blackberry phones? [20 - 35k rupees]. 

"Just to have alert of new mail received..?"

 Well well... 

Look at the Nokia phones. 


They are far cheaper then blackberry (see the above price link again). They have far better features then bb (blackberry) phones. 

Now if you want an email alert in mobile, yes this phone too support this feature.

And good news is that Nokia and IBM have made the Lotus Domino mobile application called "lotus notes traveler" which they are also giving in E72 and onwards phone. 

So if you have lotus domino in office and want email on move then can download this software to your Nokia phone (s60 above).
